Porsche is preparing a second facelift for its Cayenne Coupe in 2027, with prototypes recently spotted undergoing testing.

The updated model features a redesigned front fascia, including active air shutters beneath the headlights, enhancing aerodynamics and cooling efficiency. These design cues align with the facelifted 911 lineup for the 2025 model year.
The interior is expected to retain the significant updates introduced in the 2024 model, such as a fully digital gauge cluster, updated HVAC controls, and an optional passenger-side touchscreen. Connectivity features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will continue to be standard.
Porsche has confirmed that internal combustion engine (ICE) versions of the Cayenne will remain in production alongside hybrid and fully electric variants.
This strategy caters to diverse consumer preferences amid varying rates of electric vehicle adoption. The upcoming electric Cayenne is expected to debut around the same time as the updated ICE models.
The refreshed Cayenne Coupe is anticipated to be unveiled/Released in early 2026, likely as a 2027 model year vehicle. This update aims to keep the model competitive in the luxury SUV market, offering customers a choice between ICE, hybrid, and electric powertrains.
Performance Highlights
For enthusiasts, the non-hybrid Turbo GT model is expected to persist, though not in EU markets due to stringent emissions regulations.
Meanwhile, the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid remains a formidable option. With a combined output of 729 horsepower and a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint time of 3.7 seconds, it merges performance with practicality. Its 73-kilometer (45-mile) WLTP electric range enhances its appeal as a sporty yet eco-conscious choice.
